Background: Optimizing athletic performance requires a comprehensive understanding of scientific nutritional strategies. Integrating evidence-based dietary practices has become a crucial aspect of enhancing endurance, strength, and recovery in athletes. This study investigates the impact of scientific nutritional strategies on improving peak physical performance. Objectives: The primary objective of this research was to examine the role of evidence-based nutrition strategies in supporting athletic performance. The study further aimed to explore key dietary interventions, including carbohydrate periodization, protein timing, micronutrient management, and personalized nutrition approaches. Methods: This review utilized existing literature from peer-reviewed journals, focusing on studies that examined the effectiveness of nutritional strategies in enhancing performance outcomes. Research findings on macronutrient intake, hydration protocols, and innovative nutritional approaches such as nutrigenomics were synthesized. Results: The analysis revealed that carbohydrate periodization effectively improved endurance, while protein intake following exercise enhanced muscle synthesis and recovery. Proper hydration strategies supported thermoregulation, reducing performance decline during prolonged physical exertion. Personalized nutrition approaches demonstrated positive outcomes by aligning dietary interventions with individual genetic profiles and metabolic responses. Conclusion: Scientific advancements in sports nutrition offer effective strategies for improving athletic performance. Integrating evidence-based approaches tailored to an athlete’s physiological needs can significantly enhance strength, endurance, and recovery. Continued research is essential to explore innovative dietary interventions that further optimize performance outcomes.
